The Story
One of the biggest challenges we always faced with our operation was probably the visibility of what vehicles are on site and what work is happening and what stage that so everything we had to do manually. We were actually having quite a lot of stock loss or parts not being invoiced onto jobs so we had all the parts the staff would forget to put them on and it was actually quite a big cost to the business.
Now working with cyber automotive solutions we get a good visibility of what cars are on site, what stage they’re at, what productivity the staff are at with that car, how many hours they’ve been working on it and we can monitor all these sort of things which actually help the business to maintain our costs, maintain the parts that are going on to jobs
The biggest improvement we’ve seen on the sales side of it was with consumables. Whenever we put a mechanical part it’s now a mandatory item so we’ve actually seen a 90% increase on charging correctly for consumables.
